松節酒 Solmadi Sul (솔마디 술)

Songjeolju is wine brewed with pine knots (松節). Instead of a method the text only points to the Wind chapter of the Miscellaneous Disorders book. One of the run of wines in the Grains section, the name survives today as a Seoul regional traditional liquor.

    It treats yeokjeolpung (歷節風, joint-running wind). The formula appears in the japbang (雜方).

    HomiclubSongjeol is the hard heartwood at the knot where a branch leaves the pine trunk. Soaked with resin, it sinks in water, and its name survives in Songjeolju, a local liquor of Seoul.
