梨花酒 Ihwaju (이화주)
Ihwaju is a rice wine named for the season it is made in, when the pear trees blossom. It is known as a white, porridge-thick drink eaten with a spoon rather than poured. The Donguibogam notes its white colour and mellow taste, and calls it suited to spring and summer.
