松節 Sonamu Ongi (소나무 옹이)
Songjeol is the pine knot, the joint where a branch leaves the trunk, hardened by resin soaked through the grain. Korean households called such resinous wood gwansol and used it as kindling. Donguibogam noted it was also split fine and brewed into liquor.
