苦瓜 Bitter Melon (Yeoju)

Yeoju is the warty gourd of a cucurbit vine, the same yeoju in the crop guide. A summer vegetable out of tropical Asia, it is brewed as tea and cooked as a side dish here, and goes by bitter melon in English. Donguibogam does not carry it.
