東行根 Neunggeum Dongjjogeuro Ppeodeun Ppuri (능금 동쪽으로 뻗은 뿌리)
Donghaenggeun means 'the root that runs east'. The name comes from an old gathering rule — among a tree's roots, choose the one grown toward the rising sun — and it appears in the fruit section of Dongui Bogam as a sub-entry under one of the trees.

It treats roundworm and chonbaekchung (寸白蟲, tapeworm). 《Boncho (本草)》
HomiclubDonghaenggeun means a root that runs eastward; following the neunggeum entries, it refers to the root of that small apple tree. The pomegranate above carries an entry of the same kind, so the old practice of choosing a root by its compass direction can be seen twice over.
